These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Blue Leaf Guide website, web application, mobile application, Progressive Web App (PWA), Blue Leaf Mentor, educational content, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Blue Leaf Education ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing, registering for, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Blue Leaf Guide is an educational and career development platform designed to support cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, beauty industry students, licensed professionals, educators, schools, and educational institutions.

Services may include:

• Educational roadmaps
• Learning modules
• Career development tools
• Goal tracking
• Progress tracking
• Business and branding resources
• Income and career planning tools
• AI-powered educational assistance through Blue Leaf Mentor
• School and institution reporting tools
• State board preparation resources
• Other educational and career-related resources

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, functionality, content, or service at any time without prior notice.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account independently.

If you are under the applicable age of majority, you may only use the Services with authorization from a parent, legal guardian, educational institution, or other authorized representative where permitted by law.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To access certain features, users may be required to create an account.

Users agree to:

• Keep login credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for activities occurring under their account
• Notify Blue Leaf Education of unauthorized account activity

Users may not share, transfer, sell, or assign accounts to others.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

Certain Services may require payment of subscription fees.

Subscriptions may be offered as:

• One-time purchases
• Institutional licenses
• Promotional offers

Pricing may change at any time with reasonable notice.

Users may cancel future subscription renewals at any time through the applicable billing platform. Cancellation will prevent future charges but will not result in a refund of fees already paid.

Blue Leaf Education reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to issue refunds, credits, or other accommodations on a case-by-case basis. Any such decision shall not create an obligation to provide similar refunds, credits, or accommodations in the future.

App Store and Google Play Purchases

Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play Store are governed by the billing policies and terms of those platforms.

Auto-Renewal

Unless canceled, subscriptions may automatically renew according to the subscription terms selected during purchase.

Users are responsible for managing cancellations through the applicable billing platform.

Refunds

Refund requests are subject to applicable law and the policies of the payment platform used for purchase.

Unless otherwise required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable once access has been provided.

5. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE; NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

Blue Leaf Guide is an educational and career development platform designed to support cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, beauty industry students, licensed professionals, educators, and educational institutions.

The Services are intended to supplement, but not replace, formal education, practical training, instructor guidance, state board preparation, licensing requirements, professional judgment, or institutional instruction.

BLUE LEAF EDUCATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE:

• Graduation from any educational institution
• Completion of any educational program
• Passing grades on quizzes, tests, assignments, or examinations
• Passage of any state board examination
• Licensure, certification, or credentialing
• Employment opportunities or job placement
• Business success or profitability
• Client acquisition or retention
• Specific income levels, earnings, or financial outcomes
• Professional advancement or career success
• Any specific educational, licensing, financial, or career outcome

Individual outcomes depend on numerous factors beyond the control of Blue Leaf Education, including but not limited to attendance, participation, effort, study habits, practical experience, instructor guidance, institutional requirements, examination performance, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and individual skill development.

Users acknowledge and agree that all educational, licensing, employment, business, and financial outcomes remain their sole responsibility.

6. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FEATURES; BETA TECHNOLOGY DISCLOSURE

Blue Leaf Guide may provide artificial intelligence-powered tools, educational assistance, learning recommendations, study support, career guidance, practice questions, educational feedback, and other AI-enabled features through Blue Leaf Mentor and related technologies (collectively, the "AI Features").

Users acknowledge and agree that:

• Artificial intelligence technology is continuously evolving and may generate incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or incorrect information.

• Certain AI Features may be offered in beta, testing, preview, experimental, developmental, or pre-release stages.

• AI-generated responses should be independently reviewed and verified before being relied upon.

• AI-generated content may not always reflect current state board requirements, laws, regulations, school policies, testing standards, licensing requirements, or industry best practices.

• AI-generated responses are provided solely for educational and informational purposes.

• Users are responsible for exercising their own judgment and discretion when using information generated through AI Features.

Blue Leaf Education makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, availability, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

Users assume all responsibility for evaluating, verifying, and acting upon information generated through AI Features.

Blue Leaf Education does not guarantee that use of AI Features will result in:

• Graduation from any educational institution
• Passing grades on quizzes, tests, assignments, or examinations
• Passage of any state board examination
• Licensure, certification, or credentialing
• Employment opportunities
• Job placement
• Business success
• Client acquisition
• Specific income levels or financial outcomes
• Any particular educational, professional, or career result

AI-generated content does not constitute and should not be relied upon as:

• Legal advice
• Medical advice
• Financial advice
• Tax advice
• Mental health counseling
• Professional consulting services
• Licensing determinations
• Regulatory guidance
• Official state board examination preparation services

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blue Leaf Education shall not be liable for any decisions, actions, losses, damages, claims, or outcomes arising from or related to reliance upon AI-generated content or AI Features.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP

Blue Leaf Guide, Blue Leaf Mentor, and all related content, materials, features, functionality, software, educational resources, and services are owned exclusively by Blue Leaf Education and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, intellectual property, and other proprietary rights laws.

This ownership includes, but is not limited to:

• Blue Leaf Guide platform and software
• Blue Leaf Mentor AI-powered educational tools
• Educational roadmaps and career development systems
• Learning modules and curriculum content
• Worksheets, checklists, templates, and exercises
• State board preparation materials
• Business development and branding resources
• Income calculators and financial planning tools
• Graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, and designs
• Website content and application content
• Artificial intelligence prompts, workflows, and training methodologies
• Written content, instructional materials, and educational frameworks
• User interface designs, layouts, and functionality
• Databases, software code, and platform architecture
• All future updates, enhancements, modifications, and derivative works

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Blue Leaf Education.

8. LIMITED LICENSE

Subject to compliance with these Terms, users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal educational purposes.

9. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Users agree not to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Share account credentials
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems
• Upload malicious code
• Interfere with platform operations
• Circumvent security measures
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Misuse AI-powered features
• Use the Services for unlawful purposes
• Submit false or misleading information

10. USER CONTENT

Users may submit content through notes, goals, messages, educational exercises, assessments, or other features.

Users retain ownership of content they create.

By submitting content, users grant Blue Leaf Education a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and use such content solely for purposes of operating and improving the Services.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Services may integrate with third-party providers including payment processors, cloud hosting services, analytics platforms, AI providers, notification services, and other business tools.

Blue Leaf Education is not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.

12. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services at any time if:

• These Terms are violated
• Fraudulent activity is suspected
• Security concerns arise
• Required by law
• Necessary to protect users or the platform

13. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUE LEAF EDUCATION DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND AVAILABILITY.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUE LEAF EDUCATION, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

15. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Blue Leaf Education and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, expenses, and costs arising from:

• Your use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of applicable law
• Content submitted by you

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may modify these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be posted within the Services or on our website.

Your continued use of the Services after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
